Take a listen to "The Fog Is Lifting," a 2025 release from Bríd Harper (fiddle), Libby McCrohan (bouzouki), and Sylvain Barou (flute/uilleann pipes).
April 2026's recommended listening pick is a trio album from fiddler Bríd Harper, bouzouki player Libby McCrohan, and flutist/piper Sylvain Barou. The music is an eclectic collection of traditional and more recently composed tunes from the likes of Charlie Lennon, Richard Dwyer, and Tommy Peoples. These are all performed masterfully by the musicians.
Rather than stick to jigs and reels, Harper, McCrohan, and Barou include a number of barndances, hornpipes, hop jigs, and mazurkas in the mix.
