Improvisation/Comp Class - Irish Fest School of MusicImprovisation/Comp Class

First Tuesdays 2:00 to 4:00pm,
Cost: $40.00 per two hour class
Instructor: Jennifer D'Alessio
Location: CelticMKE Center

This group session is for any musician, no matter the instrument, at an intermediate or higher skill level. Highly recommended is a solid understanding of basic music theory (or take the Applied Music Theory class through the Irish Fest School of Music), as we will build upon that knowledge to practice improvising and comping. For anyone wishing to expand their ability to improvise or accompany, whether traditional Irish tunes, jazz, rock, new age, non-classified, or something else entirely, this is a supportive, relaxed, and open platform for that.

First class starts Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at 2:00pm. Each class session is 120 minutes.

Minimum enrollment: 3 students.

Enroll by filling out our enrollment form. Choose "Improvisation/Comp Class" as your instrument interest, and/or Jennifer D'Alessio as your instructor.
