Milwaukee Irish Fest School of Music Calendar
The Milwaukee Irish Fest School of Music offers classes at the Milwaukee Irish Fest Center on Wednesday evenings during a Fall and Winter/Spring Semester and online lessons year-round. Check out upcoming class dates below as well details about various performances by our students.
2026 Terms
The IFSM year is split into three terms to organize enrollment and attendance.
Winter/Spring Term 2026: week of January 5th through week of May 25th.
Summer Term 2026: week of June 1st through week of August 17. In-person lessons at CelticMKE are off the week of August 10 through 17 per the Milwaukee Irish Fest Summer School and festival. Make-up week is the week of August 24th.
Fall Term 2026: week of August 31st thorugh week of December 7th. Maek-up week is the week of December 14th. In-person lessons are off November 25th per Thanksgiving.
Note: students can start private lessons at any time of the year.

Join the session at Draft & Vessel in Wauwatosa every first Wednesday of the month from 7 to 9pm! In collaboration with the Milwaukee Irish Fest School of Music, Draft & Vessel welcomes our students to join this intermediate level session led by IFSM instructor Randy Gosa, IFSM instructor alum Asher Gray, and accomplished fiddler/concertina player Olivia Langby.

Stayed tuned for more details about IFSM workshops with Seán Gaving (flute/pipes) and Colm Gannon (accordion), as well as a special acoustic concert, session, and the CelticMKE Céilí dance in the evening!

December 13, 2026: Fall 2026 Recital and Family Session, 1pm
Join us for the Fall 2026 Student Recital and Family Session. We will showcase some of our students starting at 1pm; our Family Session will follow and go until 2:30pm.
The Milwaukee Irish Fest School of music hosts a family-friendly session. Irish music students of all ages are welcome to play tunes at a relaxed pace in a supportive environment. Our teachers will lead you through tunes and familiarize you with session etiquette.
