Learn an Irish Tune a Week Class

• Winter/Spring 2025 Dates: Wednesdays starting January 8, 2025 through April 30, 2025.
• Time: 5:30pm to 6:30pm Central Time
• Location: CelticMKE Center, 1532 N Wauwatosa Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53213
• Cost: $20 per class for registered IFSM students; $25 per class non-registration (enroll online)
• Focus: Melody players
• Level: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced
• Note: Beginners should know the basics of playing their instruments:
  • Note names and fingerings for G, D, and A major keys
  • Instrument specific techniques (breathing for whistle/flute students, bowing for fiddlers, picking for banjo/mandolin/guitar players)

Join Us for the Learn an Irish Tune a Week Class with Heather Lewin! 

Whether you're just starting to learn Irish music or want to beef up your session repertoire, our Learn an Irish Tune a Week class will add a new tune to your list each week! Fiddle instructor Heather Lewin will break down each tune to help you get the music under your fingers and to explore ornamentation and variation.
