Beginning Bodhrán Class

• Dates: Mondays, November 4, 11, 18, 25; December 2 (five classes).
• Time: 6:00pm to 7:00pm Central Time
• Location: CelticMKE Center, 1532 N Wauwatosa Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53213
• Cost: $20 per class for registered IFSM students; $25 per class non-registration (enroll online)
• Level: Beginner
   

Learn the fundamentals of playing bodhrán with Ian Gould! Ian will guide new students on their journey of learning the Irish frame drum, including:

• Holding the drum
• Holding and using the tipper
• Basic tune type rhythms including jigs and reels
   

What to Expect:
 

• Interactive lessons: Bring your instrument and join in! The Irish Fest School of Music also has bodhrán's to borrow during the class or rent to take home.
• Insights into playing Irish music and being part of a session.
• Connect with fellow Irish music students and expand your musical community.
