Applied Music Theory Course

2nd and 4th Tuesdays 2:00 to 3:00pm, 8 weeks

Ever wonder how to "hear" or anticipate chord changes, want to spice up your trad tunes, or "comp" behind someone else playing the melody? Connect basic to intermediate theory with your instrument(s) and Irish trad tunes, or any music really - scales, arpeggios, chord structures, modes, ornamentations, etc. The knowledge obtained in this course is used and expanded upon during the improv/comp sessions.

First class starts Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at 2:00pm. Each class session is 60 minutes.

Minimum enrollment: 3 students.
